RepLI is an empowering family planning tool that help women achieve their reproductive health goals through data visualization and a user-friendly interface.
Reproductive Health
Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and to its functions and processes. Reproductive health implies that people are able to have a satisfying and safe sex life and that they have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, when and how often to do so.

Family Planning
Family Planning is about making empowering choices to take charge of your reproductive health and journey. This idea encompasses many ideas and can cover anything from taking steps to delay having kids, proactively preparing to have kids in the future, actively trying to have kids, or making the decision to not have kids at all!
Reproductive Life Plan
A reproductive life plan is a set of goals and action steps based on personal values and resources about whether and when to become pregnant and have (or not have) children
Desired Childbearing Window
Your desired child bearing window is part of your reproductive life goal.

It is simply the window of time which you would like to have children if that is a part of your goal.
The Green Zone
Visually, the green zone is where your family planning quotient will fall when you have not yet reached your reproductive life goals.

What does it mean?
Falling in the green zone means that you have not had the number of children that you have set as your goal.
The Purple Zone
Visually, the purple zone is where your family planning quotient will fall when you have surpassed your reproductive life goals.

What does it mean?
Falling in the purple zone means that you have now have more children that you initially intended to.
Family Planning Quotient (FPQ)
The FPQ is an innovative measurement to assist women and providers track reproductive journeys and facilitate dialogue.

The Blue Line
Visually, the blue line shows your family planning journey and where you are on your journey.

The blue line is intended to show you how close you are to your reproductive life goals, and it helps to guide you through those next steps.
The Goal Line
Visually, the gold "goal" line is where your family planning quotient will fall when you have reached your reproductive life goals

What does it mean?
Falling on your goal line means that you have successfully achieved your reproductive life goal.
Reproductive Life Goal
A reproductive life goal outlines your reproductive and sexual health intentions.
This goal can then be used to help build your reproductive life plan!
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
VF is the process of fertilization by extracting eggs, retrieving a sperm sample, and then manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. The embryo(s) is then transferred to the uterus.

This is done to help with the conception of pregnancy when there many be physical or genetic difficulty.

Contraception
Contraception is a method, technique, medication, or device that is used to prevent pregnancy from sexual intercourse.
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)
LARCs are devices used to prevent pregnancy that can be used for an extended period of time without any maintenance or user action to be effective.
These devices can be placed during an outpatient doctors visit, is over 99% effective, low maintenance, can be used for up to 10 years (depending on specific device), and is completely reversible!
Intrauterine Device
(IUD)
An IUD is a device that is inserted into a uterus to prevent pregnancy from sexual intercourse.
